Used to love playing the arcade game equally a kid.
Only it's just a pretty standard scrolling beat em upward, isn't it?

I guess the other games in the collection have more than substance.

If they did a game in the style of the original comics, that would exist good

There's an old arcade Turtles arcade game I use to play at a kabab store when I was a child. I tin't remember information technology'due south proper name but if it's in this collection then this is a twenty-four hour period i buy.

@Rambler you lot mean like the original black and white comics?

I read them once and noticed they are a weird size and I found out it was because they were an independent release they got a Chinese menu place to print the comics on the inexpensive so it'due south done as the same size as a take out menu rather than a comic.

@jump
The ones I read were in colour, just I believe those were later ones when they were picked up by a publisher (I could be wrong - it'southward been many many years) - or peradventure they were reprinted in colour?
They were the ones with the scratchy, angular artwork and tearing content.

Never knew that virtually the original run!

I wonder when nosotros'll start to run across collections similar this for more than recent games? You could have a Turtles collection covering games between 2000 and 2010:-

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 - GBA)
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 - GameCube, XBOX, PS2)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ii: Boxing Nexus (2004 - GameCube, XBOX, PS2, GBA)
four. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles three: Mutant Nightmare (2005 - GameCube, XBOX, PS2, DS)
5. TMNT: Mutant Melee (2005 - GameCube, XBOX, PS2)
vi. TMNT (2007 - XB306, Wii, PS2 etc)
seven. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up (2009 - Wii, PS2)

There are other franchises who could do collections like this...

It'due south shocking that that two kids made this up (and even called themselves "Delusion" as their studio didn't really be lol) and fabricated BILLIONS from it. Both DC and Curiosity hasn't created something as big equally that since then and even the biggest new comic book franchises that came afterwards like The Walking Expressionless, Spawn, Watchmen, Hellboy, Kingsman etc despite their succes can't bear upon the Turtles.

I've just checked and information technology looks like the old arcade game I use to play was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time so it should be in this 🙂

Pretty sure Dark Equus caballus reprinted the original Eastman/Laird Mirage run. I was looking at a set of the originals on Monday. They're worth a small fortune. I couldn't go the seller to break a prepare (he had multiple full runs), and so I picked up a couple issues of Usagi Yojimbo for my daughter instead.

Woke upwardly this morning notwithstanding in disbelief that this is existent. Wow. I merely can't look. I'd imagine this is no more than a couple months out from release date. I'm fairly certain every recent Konami collection after announced released no later than 3 months after, starting with the arcade collection, contra collection, so on.

I wonder if the NES versions will have bodily a proper save progress, Like the games save afterwards every level you vanquish.. Not simply a salvage land..

Bmartin001

@Tasuki What'southward your opinion on this?? Because what'south the point of a salvage country then when yous run out of lives you have to start back from the first

Yes. We will nigh certainly get IT. Has there been whatsoever rumblings on when the physical version volition be upward for a pre-order? I have a feeling y'all'll need to jump on that right away due to demand.

If I don't get a coupon for a personal pan pizza in 1989, I volition be angry.

@Rambler - You sent me to google with this information, and information technology looks like there were ii Usagi games on the Spectrum also as a modernistic telephone game. Information technology'd exist absurd to play the old ones, it looks like one was an RPG.
